As we drove up to the CRF site on Thursday 4th August, we weren’t fazed by the rain pouring down, we had prepared ourselves for any weather with one of our nifty little kits.
After pitching our tent backstage and setting up our stall we finally had a chance to take in the surroundings. The tribute band The Skynyrd Experience got the audience in the mood with an astounding version of one of our favourite songs Sweet Home Alabama.

On the Friday night after a day of sales and soaking up the atmosphere we took pack-kit mobile and chatted to Dipster Dean from Eddie and the Hotrods, after listening to them play their signature song “Do anything you wanna do” Saturday sales boomed when the demand for ear plugs increased as late night parties and snoring from neighbouring tents kept everyone awake.

Zak Dingle from Emmerdale turned up to enjoy the music and was spotted at the ‘‘flipping pancakes’’ stall.
Larry Miller was fantastic and thanked us for our mini festival kit as he ran over to the green room after he had rocked the stage.
Chantel McGregor was amazing and she left the crowd wanting more. Morpheus Rising raised the roof with their incredible set in the classic rock stage.

Although we missed out everyone was raving about Heather Findlay’s beautiful voice, it’s a shame we missed it but there was work to be done.
We were based in the Arts and Craft tent and were blown away by how friendly and helpful everyone was. It was so great to get so much positive feedback on our festival kits, it makes the past six months of hard work worthwhile.

We want to thank everyone for their support and the organisers of CRF for allowing us to launch Pack-Kit and be part of their festival.
